Container Conversions...
A standard shipping container can serve many needs as a secure storage but it also lends itself to be modified or converted for a much wider range of uses.
Basic modifications range from an external “lock box” to enhance security, an external/internal re-spray in a choice of colours to comply with certain corporate schemes or blend into the surrounding environment.
Leavesley Containers however can fit further modifications such as:
· Adding personnel doors
· Cutting out windows and adding security shutters
· Installing internal insulation and lining
· Fitting electric lights/sockets
· Adding non-slip floor covering
As a result this could form the basis for a site office, or with a few more modifications it could be a changing room at a school or place of work. The Leavesley Container Service has also fitted containers for a mess/canteen room.
The list of possible modifications to storage containers are endless and include:
Ø Louvre vents for installation of a generator,
Ø Fully welded steel floor with bund to act as a chemical store.
Internal modifications such as:
Ø Insulation,
Ø Easy clean melamine type lining panels
Ø Work-stations
Ø Electric trunking for control rooms.
Plant installation rooms are also a common use for converted/modified containers, and we can quote you for:
Ø air conditioning,
Ø removable inspection plates,
Ø service inlet points,
Ø machinery fixing points,
Ø internal bulkheads and doors,
Ø single and double glazed windows,
Ø and industrial electrical installation.
