Container Hire

Container hire of 20ft and 40ft sizes are available for purchase to hold goods. These units are built in, and are used once for transit from into the with cargo, they represent excellent value as the freight costs are covered by the shipping lines. Smaller units are also available, in 8ft and 10ft lengths, built to the same specifications as shipping containers, with same heavy-duty floor system, for secure storage. These are transported empty from the factories that accounts for the cost difference when compared to 20ft units. ISO Standard freight containers are suitable for many things other than their original use to move goods around the world. Containers are designed and manufactured to withstand rigorous transportation by road, rail and sea, and can be lifted with gross weights of up to 35 tonnes. Construction is typically of high tensile steel framework with ribbed steel cladding to sides and roof, usually of Corten steel. Usually containers that can be rented or hired have a daily rate in which they charge. With a minimum charge usually being a period of thirty days, charges apply every day regardless of weekends and/or holiday shutdown periods. Charges are payable by Direct Debit monthly in advance, unless account arrangements are in place.~
