Modified Shipping Containers

Leavesley Containers, Branston, Staffordshire, have been busy converting steel shipping containers for alternative uses. Two have been for military applications for use as control rooms for equipment monitoring systems, one 40ft container unit for use in , and a 20ft for use in . The scope of modifications included full internal insulation and cladding, non slip floor covering, electrical circuitry and equipment to customers design, air conditioning, extra doors and windows, work stations, kitchens and all ancillary fittings.  A modified 40ft High Cube steel container has been supplied to a specialist company, for internal fitting out and eventual use as a sterile clean room at a hospital in .  A small 10ft container was supplied fully modified with internal fitting out, side window with security shutters, and electrical system with on board generator for use at a Retail Park by a Crime Reduction Team
