How is a container constructed?
Standard ISO freight containers are suitable for a wide variety of uses, they are designed to withstand the rigours of marine transportation and are constructed with high tensile steel framework and ribbed steel cladding. Internal floors are treated timber, 27mm thick, mounted on steel cross members. Double doors are fitted to one end, retained by full height locking bars with lockable handles.

How secure are the containers?
Doors have sealing gaskets with external locking bars. As standard, there is provision for the fitment of padlocks to the door handles. For extra security a steel "Lock Box" can be fitted to the doors, designed to accept most insurance approved padlocks.

Can you put a container anywhere?
Within reason we can get a container almost anywhere. Most containers have industrial forklift truck sockets and our transport has hydraulic crane arms which can lift them from the corners.
